Calvary Chapel Living Hope exists to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ with our lives, to encourage and equip the Body of Christ in our services and to reach out to the lost and hurting in the world with the good news that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.

Although new to many in Iowa, the Calvary Chapel ministry began in 1965 as a small, non-denominational Christian church. Today, there are over 2000 Calvary Chapel fellowships worldwide, including three of the ten largest churches in the United States.

Believing the Bible to be the inspired and only Word of God and the only authority for faith and conduct, at Calvary Chapel we put a strong emphasis on teaching God's Word in a way that is relevant to us today in America, because it is relevant and holds the answers to our biggest struggles as well as our simplest needs.
