Youth Ministry – This Tuesday!

If you are in 7^th – 12^th grade, we would love to have you join us for a great evening! We meet the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30pm at church for games, snacks, great fellowship and an interactive and relevant discussion of issues you face today.

 

Retirement Home Ministry

Our Retirement Home Ministry meets at Manor Care the last Sunday each month at 2:00pm.  The time includes worship, Bible Study, and fellowship.  If you’d like to help bless the folks at Manor Care, please see Mitch.

 

Daddy-Daughter Sweetheart Dance – Next Weekend

The annual WDM DD Sweetheart Dance is February 12^th at the Val Air. Guys, this is a great way to bless that precious daughter of yours (11 or younger) and let her know what a Princess she is. For more info call 223-6152.

 

Freedom for Youth Dinner

We serve dinner to kids at FFY the last Wednesday of each month. If you would like to sign up to provide part of a meal, please do so on the Info Table, or see Stacie Hotchkiss with questions. You don’t have to go in order to help provide a meal.  You can drop the food off at church. 

 

Outreach Helps!

Have you ever shared your faith and wished you had follow-up helps?  On our Info Table we have free tracts, pens, and CCLH cards available for use in evangelism and follow up.  Please feel free to use these resources!

 

Book Lending Library

Simply Worship – This Wednesday!

Join us the second Wednesday each month for “Simply Worship”. We start at 7:00pm and spend the evening in worship, communion, waiting on the Lord and praying for one another. Come and be refreshed in the Holy Spirit!

 

Living Hope Potluck

Please join us the today at 11:30am for a meal.  The church will provide drinks and paper products and we will potluck everything else.  The food and fellowship is always great, especially with you there! We hope you will join us!

 

Lake Panorama Ladies’ Conference

The annual Ladies Conference at Lake Panorama is February 25^th from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Becky Freeman will be one of the speakers sharing on this year’s theme of “Forgiveness”. The cost is only $30 and includes breakfast, lunch, snacks/drinks and conference material. We hope you can be there!

 

Ladies’ Winter & Spring Bible Study – The Gospel of John

This series is hosted by Cathie Laurie and others who will share with us via DVD the gospel of John.  We would be delighted to have you join us in hearing from the Lord all He has for you, His precious daughter! The study is Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm thru June 11^th. Cost is $20 for the workbook. Please see Jane Engelhardt for more information.

 

Ladies’ Night Out

Ladies, join us for a great evening of fellowship the third Sunday of each month!  We meet at HyVee on Valley West at 5:00pm.  Join us for dinner or just for fun!  For more info or questions, please see Cindy or call 987-4512.

 

Newcomers’ Dinner

If you are new to Calvary and would like to learn more about the fellowship, our vision and how you can be a part of it, then you are invited! Dinner is at the church on Saturday, May 19^th at 6:00pm to hear from the leaders, meet other people and get to know more about Calvary Chapel!

Men’s Study

We meet every Thursday from 7:00-8:30pm at church for a study through the Book of Job. Join us for a time of prayer, study and discussion. For more info or to be added to the weekly email chain, please see Ryan or John.

 

Men’s Prayer

We meet the 1^st Saturday of each month to pray from 7:30-8:30am at Mitch’s.  For info please call Mitch at 457-1397.
